What the registry expects
Registered office requiredIncorporation asks for the registered office address and its proof as part of the filing. That is the chicken-and-egg most first-time founders hit: you cannot file without an address, and you do not have a company to rent one with yet.

Get the kit issued in the proposed name before you file. If your name approval is rejected and you re-file under a different name, the documents have to be reissued to match - tell us and we will reissue rather than making you buy again.

- Can a not incorporated yet use a virtual office address?
- Yes. The address has to satisfy the same proof requirements as any other - a signed rent agreement, an NOC from the property owner and a recent utility bill. For a registered office you also need a centre marked MCA-eligible, because not every address is offered for that purpose.
- What documents does a not incorporated yet get?
- The standard kit - rent agreement, NOC from the owner and a recent utility bill - plus kit issued in the proposed company name, with the signatory as the applicant.
- Will a GST officer visit the address?
- They may. Physical verification of the premises happens for a meaningful share of registrations, and how likely it is varies by state - each location page says what to expect there. Signage in your business name can be installed on request, and our team is briefed for the visit.
